Gradac Monastery was built in the style of the Raska School but with certain Gothic architectural influence. Few frescoes have survived are similar in style to those of the Sopocani Monastery. Gradac Monastery is functioning as a nunnery, now. |

The town of Pec was a major religious center of medieval Serbia. Pec became the seat of the Serbian Orthodox Church under the Serbian Tsar Stefan Dušan in 1346. Pec retained this status until 1766, when the Patriarchate of Pec was abolished. |

Celije Monastery is located in Western Serbia, near the Gradac river, about 6 km southwest from the town of Valjevo. Celije Monastery was originally built in the late 13th century. During its history the monastery was devastated several times and it was finally reconstructed in the 18th century. |

Ljubostinja Monastery is located in the south-central part of Serbia. Ljubostinja monastery was founded by Prince Lazar Hrebeljanovic and Princess Milica in 1388. Unfortunately, little has remained of once vast painted area of Ljubostinja Monastery. In the nave, only the Annunciation unit of the whole Festival Cycle has survived. |
